Adopted

Zac... Hi, may name is Zac and I'm 8 months old.  I came to GRR from a nice lady who loved me very much. She had to work long hours and didn't have a lot of time to spend with me so she decided to let GRR find me a new forever home. As you can see I'm very cute and I'm having a great time with my foster family.  Will you come back and visit my web page again?  I don't have time to write more now, I have things to do and typing on this computer is not as much fun and chewing on bones or playing with my foster brother!

Update from Zac 10/07/02:

Hi! I'm Zac reporting on my first week with my foster family.  I'm having a blast playing with my foster brother, a 6 month old puppy! We love to tumble and wrestle for hours until we're completely exhausted. My foster Mom says I have a wonderful disposition because I get along with all the dogs and people I've met over the last week. She says I super-friendly and just a big ol' ball of love.

I love stuffed animals, especially one's that squeak.  My foster Mom says my play-bite is too
gentle and that's why I can't make the toy squeak. She makes it squeak and then I get so excited I do a little wiggly dance. My foster brother and I also like to play tug with our rope and toys. I love to play chase -- sometimes through the sprinklers, retrieve any object that is thrown, and go for walks in the park. I'm not really use to a leash, yet, but I'm learning.

My foster family says I have excellent manners for an 8 month old puppy. I don't jump on them or try to steal their food while they are eating.  I listen very well and respond to their calls. I haven't tried to chew on anything other than my toys or bones and I haven't had a single accident in the house! I'm also learning how to use a crate during the day. My foster Dad tried to baby-gate me downstairs but I easily jumped that.

I really enjoy my foster family.  I prefer to be right next to them, especially when I'm napping.  I love to cuddle! I'll try to curl up in their lap when I can. I also like to sleep on the bed at night but they prefer I sleep on my dog bed on the floor. Although I'm having fun, I'm really looking forward to meeting my forever family.  My foster family says I'm going to do great because I'm such a special catch!

Update 10/23/02:

Hi everyone!  I know you like to look at my web page so I've had my friend "The Web Master" put up some new pictures of me.  Guess what?  My foster Mom and Dad are on a cruise in the Caribbean.  They told me the cruise ship didn't allow dogs - I don't get it, wouldn't it be a great marketing ploy to have a nice golden on board?  Oh well, I'm still having a great time because I'm staying with my buddy Duke and his sisters Sage and Sierra.  I get to play with Duke all day, Sierra chases me round and round the couch and Sage shares her cheese treats with me.  I guess missing the cruise isn't so bad after all.
